Welcome back! I'm happy to report that we've had an incredibly smooth start to the school year. The students have returned full of excitement and story and are settling back into routine. We particularly welcome our newest Foundation students commencing their educational journey who are being well cared for by staff and students.
Last week, all CES schools participated in the launch of the highly anticipated 'Magnify'. After months of preparation, training and planning, we finally commenced the InitiaLit and Ochre Literacy program across the school this week.
We are committed to improving outcomes and providing a program where every student can flourish, inspired by the mantra, "Every Student, Every Teacher, Every School, Every Day!"
Families are invited to 'drop in' to your child/ren's classroom and meet the teacher on Tuesday February 18 anytime between 5-7pm. Grab a sausage while you're here.
It is with great pleasure I welcome the following staff members to St Joseph's:-
We wish Jo Threlfall all the best in retirement and thank her for years of loyal service at St Joseph's.
Please keep in mind that the school closure days for 2025 are included on the 'Calendar' page.
In 2025, we have partnered with 'Inform & Empower' to deliver a comprehensive cyber safety curriculum. More information will follow for families next year.
We still have vacancies for Classroom Representatives. If you are interested, please contact the school office.
Kind regards,
Peter Teggelove, Principal
