There was great excitement at school last week when a large lizard was spotted enjoying the sunshine in the garden! Students were fascinated by our unexpected visitor and eagerly gathered to observe it. After the excitement settled, the lizard was carefully and safely relocated to its new home in the school vegetable garden. It was a wonderful moment of curiosity and learning for our students as they experienced local wildlife right here at school.
During the week beginning Monday 23 March, teachers will be participating in Planning Week as they prepare for Term 2. Throughout the week, staff will be analysing student assessment data to better understand student progress and learning needs. Teachers will also be deepening their knowledge of the curriculum content that will be taught next term, ensuring lessons are carefully planned and aligned to the Victorian Curriculum 2.0.
During Planning Week, students will have their specialist classes scheduled across one day rather than spread throughout the week.
