Week 7 was another fun and busy week at OSHC! Our Breakfast Club kept everyone fueled for the day with pikelets, baked beans on toast, and French toast, a great way for children to start their morning. Our Snack Squad menu brought some delicious and filling options including ramen, chicken noodles, and veggie burgers served with hashbrowns, which were a big hit with the children.
There was plenty of creativity happening throughout the week. Children enjoyed making Hama bead designs, building cardboard robots, exploring watercolour magic, and shaping their own clay creations. Quiet activity tables were also popular, with lots of children taking on word searches, crosswords, and puzzles. We kept active with a range of physical games, including table tennis, musical hoops, and both junior and senior playground games that had everyone moving and having fun together.
Our kitchen activities were another highlight of the week. The children loved making honey joys, as well as getting creative with “Popcorn Picasso”, where they used popcorn and marshmallows to design their own edible masterpieces.
We also kicked off the week with an exciting Pupil Free Day themed “Colour Festival.” The day was packed with vibrant activities including rainbow string art, super spinning tops, sidewalk sketchers, balloon treasure, DIY colour explorers, and paint box relays. It was a fantastic day full of creativity, colour, and fun for everyone involved.

Enrolling Your Child
For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/
A helpful video for navigating the iParent Portal and completing the enrolment process can be found on this page.
Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
