On Tuesday, our new Grade &s started their Balmoral journey! Our student leadership team joined us a day early to welcome them and show them around the grounds. We are so pleased to have them with us at BSHS.

Chalk Talk is Balmoral State High School’s podcast, showcasing thoughtful conversations that explore teaching, learning and student growth across our school community and beyond.

Year 7 Check-In
On Thursday, we caught up with our new Year 7 students to see how their first week of high school has been going. As part of the check-in, students were interviewed and given the opportunity to share their first impressions, highlight what they’ve enjoyed so far, and reflect on their transition to Balmoral State High School.
These conversations provided valuable insight into how our newest students are settling in, allowed staff to answer any questions, and ensured students feel supported, confident, and connected within our school community.
