What a big year at TPS!
Mr Hogan
This is our final newsletter for 2025, with our Term 4 dismissal next Friday at 1:30pm. It has certainly been a huge year, with so much to celebrate. A few of the major highlights have included:

This is only a snapshot of what we have achieved over the past year.
Just in Term 4 we have:

It has certainly been a huge term and year. We look forward to seeing what 2026 has in store.
We have just completed our student leadership process for 2026. This year's leaders have really set the bar high for the next lot of leaders to follow. Thank you to our 2025 student leaders.
It gives me great pleasure to announce our 2026 leaders.
School Captains : Heidi C, Jed B, Ella F and Tippi H.

Young Leaders: Heidi C, Jed B, Ella F, Tippi H, Alby D, Maya H, Lana R, Hanna H, Noah V, Owen J.
Breakfast Club: Noah V, Levi K, Flo B, Hanna H, Maya H, Rubi E, Nate C, Spencer W, Jed B
Library: Owen J, Chase S, Ava D, Ryder Y
Ronny Shop: Elishia D, Ada R, Alby D
We will be appointing our House Captains early in Term 1 and will be doing a formal badge presentation following.
You will see we have already started to put out some key dates for the start of 2026.
A couple of things you may notice is that our 2026 Foundation students have got each Wednesday off during February. This allows the students to have a rest, but also teachers to complete some important testing at the start of the year.
Our Grade 2 camp is going back to the sleepover that was held for many years. This is very popular with the students and is a great experience.
Also, we are trialling running our school swimming program and carnvial in late November next year, rather than at the start of the year. Changing this program coincides with the start of summer and the swim season, and also supports the local pool and their Swimming Club program.
Graduation evening will be held at 6pm on Tuesday, 16th December at the Shire Hall in Tongala.
The following day is unofficially our final day of classes and our wonderful Parents and Friends have organised a huge whole school party to celebrate.
The day will involve a colour run, water slides, a slip and slide, some quiet activities, a dance party and a sausage sizzle to top things off.
There will be no cost involved and is taking place of individual grade parties.
This will no doubt be an amazing, fun day for everyone.

School's Out are running 5 days of Holiday Program fun right here at school. Check out the timetable below.

Thank you for a fantastic year. I wish everyone a Merry and most of all safe Christmas and New Year, and look forward to seeing you all again in 2026.
