We are proud to engage in Creative and Performing Arts learning at Chatswood Public School. We are grateful as well for the contributions of our staff in offering additional performing arts opportunities through our extracurricular dance, choir and instrument ensemble programs. 

Our school recognises CAPA learning in multiple ways, including our annual Performing Arts Showcases, each event celebrating CPS performing arts ensembles' learning and collaborative practice.

Performing Arts Showcase 2026

The annual Performing Arts Showcase (PAS) features an exciting combination of dance, choir and instrument ensemble groups, staged at The Concourse Chatswood. The  PAS 2026 will take place on 3 September 2026, and will include performances by  

• Stage 2 Dance, Stage 3 Dance
• Year 3 Choir, Year 4 Choir, Year 5 Choir & Year 6 Choir
• Guitar Ensemble, Advanced Chinese Music Ensemble, Training Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Stepping Stones, Intermediate Strings, String Group, Chamber String Ensemble & Orchestra

Junior Performing Arts Showcase 2026

The Junior Performing Arts Showcase (JuniorPAS) likewise celebrates the practice of our junior performing arts groups. This year, the JuniorPAS will take place on 6 November 2026 in the CPS School Hall. 

Performances will feature:

• Stage 1 Dance & Stage 1 Chinese Dance
• Stage 1 Choir
• Stepping Stones and Junior Chinese Music Ensemble (JCME to be confirmed)
