Wellbeing & Inclusion

End of Term 1  Wrap‑Up

As we reach the end of Term 1, it’s a lovely opportunity to pause and appreciate the growth, connection, and resilience our students have shown. This term has been filled with learning, laughter, and plenty of moments where students have supported one another and demonstrated genuine care. It’s been wonderful to watch friendships strengthen, confidence grow, and our school values shine through in so many ways.

Purple Up 4 Epilepsy

One of the standout moments this past week was our Purple Up 4 Epilepsy Day. The school was a sea of purple, and the sense of unity was truly uplifting. Students and staff came together to raise awareness and show compassion for those living with epilepsy, and the generosity of our community made the day incredibly meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, dressed up, and helped create such a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Your kindness made a real impact.

Term 1 House Winner - Teddy Bears Picnic

A huge congratulations to Beta House, our Term 1 PBL House Champions. Their consistent demonstration of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience has been outstanding, and their efforts were celebrated with a Teddy Bears’ Picnic.

The picnic was a huge success, filled with smiles, soft toys, picnic blankets, and plenty of happy moments. It was a beautiful way to acknowledge the positive choices Beta House students have made throughout the term. Their teamwork, kindness, and commitment to our school values truly stood out. I’m really looking forward to Term 2 and continuing to build on this sense of connection, positivity, and community.

A Huge Shout‑Out to Our Amazing Co‑Educators & Admin Team

Term 1 is always the busiest term of the year, new routines to learn, new faces to welcome, new expectations to navigate, and a whole lot of settling in. Through all of that organised chaos, our incredible Co‑Educators and Admin Team have been absolute superstars. They’re the calm in the storm, the extra pair of hands when things get hectic, and the warm, steady support that helps our students feel safe, seen, and ready to learn.

They show up every single day with kindness, patience, and so much heart. Whether they’re helping a student regulate, supporting learning in the classroom, guiding small groups, welcoming and supporting parents at the front office, accepting deliveries, updating systems and processes, or simply offering a reassuring smile at just the right moment, they make a difference in countless ways. Their work is selfless, their energy is amazing, and our school simply wouldn’t be the same without them.

A massive, heartfelt thank you to our wonderful team:

Nola Davis, Loren Carattoli,Kylie Collier, Julie Biancucci, Leilie Baxter, Camryn Bux, Kerrie Gordon, Althea Cayton, Marie Parker, Michele Lafauci, Kellie Ward, Kylie Hinton, Franca Matsamakis, Debbie Russell, Danni Logozzo, Delano Ragusa

You are all incredible humans who are the glue to our school. They lift our students, our teachers, leaders, and our whole school community every single day. We appreciate you more than you know.

Wishing Everyone a Restful and Happy Easter Break

As we head into the Easter holidays, we hope every family finds time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the slower moments. Term 1 has been full and fast, and the break is a perfect chance for students (and parents) to reset their minds and bodies. Me personally, I am so excited to welcome my son home after being away for the school term. There is nothing warmer than having your whole family together.

Whether you’re spending time with loved ones, enjoying the outdoors, or simply taking a well‑earned breather, we wish you a safe, peaceful, and joy‑filled Easter.

Thank you for your ongoing support, warmth, and partnership throughout Term 1. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for a positive and connected Term 2.
