The Sacrament of Reconciliation

Thank you to our Year 3 classroom teachers, Marisa Testa and Lauren Silvestro, for supporting our students as they celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Fr Desmond and Fr Joseph for leading our Reconciliation liturgies.

During their preparation for this sacrament, the Year 3 students reflected on the Scripture story of the Prodigal Son. Just as the father in the story celebrated his son’s return with great joy, our Year 3 students also marked their ‘return’ with a small celebration.

St Vincent De Paul Ascot Vale

On Monday morning our Social Justice Captains proudly presented Bill from St Vincent de Paul Ascot Vale with an Easter hamper to support those in need in our local community this Easter.

An Easter Prayer

Loving God,

In this Easter season, we rejoice in the new life of Jesus. Help us to recognise the hope of the Resurrection in our own lives- in acts of kindness, forgiveness, and love.

May we be people of new life, bringing light where there is darkness, and joy where there is sadness.

As we celebrate Easter, remind us that you are always with us, calling us to begin again.
