Cross Country & Athletics Day

Cross Country

What a beautiful day it was on Monday 30th March for our Grade 3–6 Cross Country Carnival at Walter St Reserve!

The event was a wonderful success, and it was so lovely to see every student embrace the day in their own way — whether that was pushing themselves to the limit to complete the 2km or 3km course, or simply enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings with a mix of walking and running.

Every single one of you should be proud!

We'd love to give a very special shoutout to Grade 3's Paddy Hope, who recorded the fastest time across all of the Grade 3 and Grade 4 runners — an outstanding effort, Paddy! It was clear you were well and truly in the red zone for a long time, and it absolutely paid off. Well done!

A huge thank you once again to all of our incredible parent helpers who gave up their time to make the Cross Country Carnival run so smoothly. We simply couldn't do it without you!

Here's to another memorable year of sport — we can't wait to see what's next!

Athletics Day

What an incredible Athletics Day!

A huge congratulations to Beta House (Green) on taking out the overall Athletics Day trophy — a fantastic effort from every single student who competed and gave their all on the day!

A special mention also goes to Gamma House, who are the well-deserved winners of the Spirit Award. Your energy, enthusiasm, and support for one another was truly something special to witness.

One of the standout highlights of the day was undoubtedly the High Jump — the atmosphere was electric as students from every house gathered around to cheer on their peers, celebrating every single clearance with incredible passion. Moments like that are what make Athletics Day so special.

We'd also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our wonderful parent helpers — your time and support made the day run seamlessly and we are so grateful for everything you do for our school community.

A warm thank you also to the high school students from Simonds Catholic College and Academy of the Mary Immaculate who joined us on the day to help out. Your involvement was greatly appreciated, and you were wonderful role models for our students.

Here's to another memorable Athletics Day — we can't wait to do it all again!

Warm regards,
