All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

St Louis de Montfort  is Celebrating 60 years

Good afternoon parents and caregivers,

I hope you have had a great week and enjoying a cooler weekend.

We have has a great start to the school year. All classes are settled and the preps have been fantastic. Just watching the preps enjoy everything St Louis' has to offer brings so much joy to me and the staff.

The Beginning of the School Year mass

The whole school came together last Tuesday to celebrate the beginning of the 2025 school year. The staff were commissioned and the Year 6 students received their leadership badges. Thank you to Father Andrew for celebrating this mass with us and to  Mrs Douglas for all her preparation. Thank you to all the parishioners, parents and grandparents who also helped us celebrate the start to a new school year.

Pilgrims  of Hope - Year of Jubilee.

This year Pope Francis has declared 2025 as the "Pilgrims  of Hope - Year of Jubilee.

" Journey of Hope" portrays the Christian life as a pilgrimage, an active process of reflection and growth. It highlights that hope sustained by God's grace guides us through our spiritual journey towards salvation, with each step marked by faith, charity and perseverance.

Redirecting the entry into the school

Starting on Monday we are going to try and make the entry into the school flow more smoothly.  Students come from Kubis St or Inlet St a staff member will direct all foot traffic to go down the side path (bike path) and enter the school via the crossing across the carpark, or down at the bike shed gate.  Student crossing at the crossing on Dolphin street will need to enter via the front gate to the school.

Complaints from residents

Please be mindful of our residents and not park across their driveways as you wait to enter the school. Some residents need to get out of their driveway to go to work or take their children to school.

If your children are riding around the streets of Aspendale, Edithvale or Mordialloc after school, could they please get changed out of their school uniform.
