NEW FACES (1 of 2)

ZACK GRACE ( Secondary Teacher)

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?

I'll be teaching VCE Physics and Chemistry and VM Numeracy. I'm excited to show the students how rewarding it is to study these subjects, because observing God's creation closely helps us to know Him better.

What did you do previously?

I taught Science and Maths at Mountain District Christian School (MDCS) until it closed in 2022. In 2023-24 I completed a 2 year church ministry apprenticeship at New Life Presbyterian Church in Officer, which helped me to realise I have more of a passion for teaching rather than full-time pastoral work.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to play music and cook. And garden. And make really nice coffee. And hike and camp. And read theological books. And work on my Subaru WRX. Lots of things. I love to have fun, and have been described as a "nerd of many things".

REBEKAH INGLIS (Primary Art Teacher)

What did you do previously?

I taught Prep- Year 3 Art at Flinders College.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love to potter around the garden with my 3 kids.

CHLOE KRIVAN (Secondary Art Teacher)

What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?

This year I will be beginning my role teaching Year 9-12 Visual Arts. I love creating

beautiful spaces where we all experience belonging and feel safe to explore ideas with curiosity and wonder. I'm excited to get to know my students and to see the unique and meaningful artworks created this year.

What did you do previously?

Before teaching, I completed a Double Arts and Visual Arts degree at Monash University, majoring in Psychology. I grew up around Geelong, and began teaching VCE Art Making and Exhibiting at Christian College in 2023.

What do you like to do for fun?

My favourite pastimes include Oil Painting, singing/songwriting, and reading. I also love being out in nature, and enjoy a good walk or swim!
