ITALIAN
Congratulations to every student for making Signora Gee’s first week of Italian wonderful! Mrs Corso has done a wonderful job of teaching Italian in the past, the students have come with very good prior knowledge.
During Term 1 students will revisit expectations in the Italian classroom and learn classroom words to use when they come to Italian lessons. The aim is to start saying Italian words in their classroom, during other subjects throughout the day.
I look forward to a fun and exciting year with the wonderful students who have all been so eager to share and learn with me already in their Italian journey.
SPORT
This week saw the first week of sport for 2025 as we began our lawn bowls topic. Sportsmanship, correct technique, and aiming for targets were the focus for each lesson. Mrs. Brennan was absolutely ecstatic to have 100% participation in every single class, and we really hope the students can keep it up!
ART
2025 in the art room is going to be lots of colour and fun! Some of our junior students got to have a little taste of art already last week making a fun collage poster of themselves including a photo of themselves and trying out some creative lettering.
Mrs Hill is excited to have all classes back this week and we are starting the year off with some 3D paper art where we will learn some techniques and skills to make some cool 3D paper construction creations. Keep a look out for our creations!
