Today is a great day to be you!
Next Monday, SchoolPix will be visiting once again for our whole school photos day.
Information about our photo day went out earlier this week, however it might well have been lost amongst all of the School Fair communications!
The most important aspect - please ensure students are in full school uniform on Monday.
Photos will include:
We will also have a portrait studio set up at the back of the gym for individual 'catch up' photos. These will be for students who were absent from the photo day earlier this year, or any new students to the school since then.
We are only 10 days away from our Resilience Project Digital Wellbeing Parent/Carer workshop!
This event will run on Monday October 28th at 6:30pm. We really need to confirm numbers so that we can allocate a suitable space to host the event, and also confirm staffing for child-minding. If you are considering coming along, please RSVP as soon as you can using the QR Code on the flyer below.
We really strongly encourage you to register for this event and come along to learn some practical strategies you can implement at home to successfully manage the ever-growing challenge of devices.
Everyday, we hear more and more about online addictions and the battles that families face when attempting to navigate the digital world with their children. This presentation would be great for all families, but particularly those with children in Year 3-6.
We had over 100 adults registered to attend for the original event before we needed to reschedule, so we are really hoping to reach this number again.
We are very proud of our wonderful student leaders, which includes our Year 6 group and our Junior School Council representatives. These students have worked hard all year to be the best role models they can be for the rest of our school.
Once we reach Term 4, we begin the very exciting project of exploring student leadership opportunities for the following year! On Wednesday, our Year 5 students participated in a full day leadership incursion, designed to help develop them as leaders. It was fantastic to spend some time with them and observe how they all interacted and supported each other in a range of group activities.
I am very confident our future-2025 school leaders will be amazing!
We've got our incredible School Fair coming up this weekend... but once that is over, the events don't stop there!
On Saturday 9th November, RAFT (RAngeview Fathering Tribe) are running another great community event. This one will get you out and about exploring the local area - enjoying a 'Goonies-themed' scavenger hunt, followed by a screening of The Goonies in the school gym. The movie night will include free popcorn and drinks.
Please register for this event using the QR Code on the flyer below - and a huge thank you once again to our RAFT leaders for putting these events together. Make sure you check out the RAFT information at the Fair this weekend at the Ball Toss sideshow game area!
Looking forward to seeing all of you at the Fair on Sunday!
