Principal's News

Mr Brian Anderson

Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

School Concert

School Concert fever has truly taken over at St Francis Xavier this week!

The children have been rehearsing daily with their teachers, working hard to ensure an

unforgettable show. This will be my first concert since 2019, and like many of you in the community, I’m excited to see the entire school come together for this special event. There are only a few tickets left, so please make sure to secure yours as soon as possible.

Doors will open at 6:00 pm for children, with the concert starting promptly at 6:30 p.m.

Water and popcorn will be available for purchase for the audience only, and we ask that school children bring their own water bottle.

Please note that all children are expected to stay until the end of the concert.

A big thank you to the families who have helped organise costumes for the performance.

If the concert is anything like the fantastic singing we’ve heard during rehearsals, it’s sure to be a resounding success!

New School Building

I’m pleased to announce that our Year 6 classrooms will be moving into the new school building starting in January 2025. These innovative learning spaces will be perfect for Year 6 students as they prepare to transition from primary to high school. We are eager to embrace the exciting opportunities ahead for Year 6 in 2025!

Tournament of Minds

A huge congratulations to all of our students who took part in the Tournament of Minds competition. The children performed exceptionally well and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Special thanks to Mrs. Pack and Ms. Biskupic for their dedicated support throughout the competition, ensuring that the students achieved such impressive results. We’re already looking forward to what we can accomplish in 2025!

Finally, the Term 3 Principal’s Award Assembly will take place on Thursday, 26th September, at 9:00 a.m. in the school hall. I hope to see many of you there.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead,

Brian
