Friendship Day

As part of our Friendology program, students worked together in their last Circles session for Term 3 to celebrate Friendship Day. International Friendship Day promotes the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures, and individuals can inspire peace and build bridges between communities.

Today students celebrated Friendship Day to promote all the wonderful relationships we have at LPS! To promote being kind, supportive and accepting of all the different people that make up our Pegasus Family.

Students worked together to unpack 'What do good friends do?' and what image represents friendship to them. To showcase that we value friendships at Lysterfield, all students contributed to a Friendship mural which can be found in the corridor of the main building.

To follow up at home, we encourage you to talk as a family about Friendships and by using the resources from the Friendology/UrStrong website, how to navigate Friendship fires.
