Congratulations to Libby Saunders, BASP Coordinator
In the recent King’s Birthday honours Libby Saunders, BASP Coordinator, was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for contributing significantly to community health and, in particular, for her work with asylum seekers.
Libby’s leadership is appreciated across the refugee sector. Kildare Ministries recognises this amazing work and are delighted that, through Libby, our overall contribution to some people in the community with acute vulnerability is being acknowledged.
Libby has so much wisdom, built up over many years of experience working with very vulnerable people with disabilities, in aged and palliative care and with asylum seekers. She has an acute sense of where justice should take us. Kildare Ministries is proud of one of its own being given this award.
The BASP community and all of Kildare Ministries is continuingly enriched by Libby’s hands-on and dedicated work.
Thanks, and congratulations Libby from all Kildare Ministries.
