'Stars Speak' event at Star of the Sea College
Star of the Sea College's Past Students' Association proudly invites you to this year's Stars Speak event, featuring two remarkable First Nations' past students, Shelley Reys AO (1984) and Bayley Mifsud (Merindah-Gunya) (2016). Both women proudly celebrate their Indigenous heritage and have made significant contributions to their respective fields.
Stars Speak will be hosted by Year 11 parent, Meegan Jia-Good, a Torres Strait Islander and Aboriginal woman and a strong advocate for Indigenous voices.
The afternoon will include a panel discussion, offering significant insights into the lives and achievements of these inspirational women, and an opportunity to learn how Star of the Sea College's First Nations' Program is supporting our current Indigenous students. We will conclude the event with drinks and finger food in Kildare Cafe.
For those who may wish to attend, they can book a ticket at ($25 includes afternoon tea and a glass of bubbles) https://www.trybooking.com/CUVBX
We look forward to welcoming our Star Community to this wonderful event.
