Primary District Athletics Carnival

With our Aussie Olympic stars passing the baton onto the Plenty Valley children, our District Athletics squad of 46 students from Years 3-6, represented our school with pride at the District Athletics Carnival on Thursday 29 August.

Braving the cold conditions, the students demonstrated superb effort, skill and character, and ended the day with a big smile on their face regardless of the outcome of the event. Talking of smiles, the whole squad was beaming when it was announced that Plenty Valley had finished third overall for the day’s competition, out of the ten schools competing in the District. 

What an amazing effort. We also had eleven individual students advance to Division Athletics, which will be held on September 12th. Congratulations to all students who participated in this exciting event, and good luck to those competing in the upcoming Division Carnival.
