Term 3 has been jam packed with Reading action.  Thank you to everyone who made this term and Book Week so special.

 The Foundations, Year 1s and 2s, enjoyed exploring, through reading and art, the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s shortlisted Picture Books of the Year.  Below are some examples -

All Year levels got to vote for their favourite book, and the overall winner of the Albany Rise Picture Book World Cup was

                      The Guess the Shredded book answer was, of course, Possum Magic!

                                   The Year 6 winner was Alyssa from 6P.

                                   The Year 3 winner was Archie from 3/4E.

                                   The overall school winner was Stephanie from 6P.
