Level 1

Writing 

The Level 1 students have been enthusiastically working on Narrative writing. We have been creating imaginative stories based on the story ‘The Night Zoo’, in which they have invented their own characters, settings and problems related to the story. They have absolutely loved this experience and have created many wonderful pieces which they have shared with one another. This term, we will continue to build on these skills and add more characters into this magical world!

Tennis

We have been so fortunate to have participated in a Tennis incursion that Mr Hodgson organised for the school. The students thoroughly enjoyed learning and practising new skills with the coaches from HE Parker Tennis Club. Over 3 sessions our students demonstrated team work, resilience and some even discovered a hidden talent for the sport! 

Inquiry 

Our Inquiry topic in Term 3 was called, ‘HEPS and Beyond’. To celebrate our learning and hard work, we invited families to join us for an Expo. We displayed trioramas that showcased our learning across several different countries including Australia, China, India, U.S.A., Canada and a variety of European countries. We also created passports to collect stamps when we visited our friends to celebrate and share their learning on the day. Thank you to the families that were able to join us, we had so much fun and were proud of our work!
