HEPS Colour Expolosion – Wednesday 27th November
Plans are well underway for the HEPS colour explosion event on Wednesday 27th November! It will be a great fun event for the kids to have a colourful afternoon and raise money for our wonderful school.
What will happen on the day?
During the last session of the day children will run a set track around the school with teacher and parent/helper manned stations along the route where they will be sprayed with coloured powder and water.
What to wear:
Students can wear white t-shirts and shorts/pants to school on the day. If your child does not want to have water or colour thrown at them, they can still take part and just wear a black t-shirt that will signal to our teachers and volunteers on the colour/water stations to avoid them. Please send your children to school in old shoes if possible as the colour powder may be difficult to remove from lighter coloured shoes. Children will be sunglasses to wear on the day!
Call for volunteers:
We will be needing volunteers on the colour and water stations to spray the happy HEPS kids as the run around the track! It will be a fun opportunity to help bring a colourful event to life and have a laugh along the way. To register your interest please go to this link Colour Explosion Volunteer Roster. Please note a current working with children check is required.
Lots more information will come home soon in a pack that will include fundraising information, FAQ’s and more.
