Been part of the awesome ASPS community since 2022 and am delighted to have observed my son Ben, Second Grade, thrive at the school. I joined the Council because I wanted to contribute back into the community and be part of the team that creates such a wonderful environment for those dear to us. Always happy to chat to any parents wanting to learn how they can also contribute to the continued success of ASPS!

I'm really pleased to have joined the ASPS Council this year, having been part of the school community since 2021. I have two children at the school; Thomas in Prep B and Henry in 3A (as well as our fur-child Dolly, who's a regular at pick up / drop off). As part of the School Improvements Subcommittee, I'm particularly keen to support the school's ongoing focus on sustainabilty and inclusion of First Nations culture, as well as our weekly duties looking after the school chickens!

Marcus Wicher

Principal

I've had the privilege of being the principal and executive officer of school council at ASPS since 2012. I'm enormously proud of the wonderful work that our staff do with students and their families to make ASPS the great school that it is. I'm also appreciative of the role that our school council plays in enabling the school to achieve its strategic academic, wellbeing and operational aims. I'm also a father of 3 children (2 in primary and 1 in secondary) and bring this perspective to how I lead and support students, parents and staff.

Michael Wainwright

Assistant Principal

I have been a member of the Auburn South team since 2011 beginning my time here as a Performing Arts teacher before transitioning to my current role as Assistant Principal. I thoroughly enjoy working with school council; particularly the school improvement committee on ideas and projects focussed on developing our school grounds and infrastructure. I am appreciative of the opportunity to work with a diverse group of motivated people who are passionate about the growth and well-being of our students.
