We are learning to convert between fractions, decimals and percentages.
VOCABULARY
Fraction: A fraction is a part of a whole number, and a way to split up a number into equal parts. It includes a numerator and denominator that are separated by a line.
Decimal: A decimal is a non-whole number (e.g. 2.6)
Percentage: A quantity out of 100. Uses the % symbol.
Quantity: An amount or number of something.

Work out the fraction of the quantity for the following problem:
A teacher has a packet of coloured pencils. There are 20 pencils in the packet. 8 of the pencils are shades of red and yellow. What fraction of the pencils are not shades of red and yellow? Can you convert this to a decimal and percentage?
