What's happening in Grade 1?

Parent Open Morning/Book Swap

On Monday during the Parent Open morning year 1’s had a book swap. We all brought a few books to swap and then went home with books that were new to us! We have been learning about Sustainability and reducing waste in Inquiry and the Book Swap was a perfect way to action our learning. We did a book swap at school so we could share our old books instead of throwing them away. It was fun to choose a new book to read, and we helped reduce waste by reusing books!
