Dear Families,
There is so much to celebrate this week!
Energy Breakthrough
A huge shout-out to our Senior students, who have been training for months in preparation for this week’s event. Rain, hail or shine, the carts have been out, and the students have shown tremendous commitment—building their fitness and honing their skills.
A heartfelt thank-you to Trent McInnes for his organisation, leadership and training, and to our amazing parents for everything you do to make this experience possible: fundraising, logistics, catering, and supporting the event across all three days. We couldn’t do it without you.
Sandhurst Awards
On Thursday I will be attending the inaugural Sandhurst Awards Ceremony. Our leadership team was invited to nominate staff and students across several categories. We are very proud to share our nominees:
Outstanding Student Learning: Logan
Logan has worked incredibly hard this year and has shown exceptional growth in both literacy and numeracy. His dedication and commitment to improvement are truly commendable.
Outstanding Student Leader: James
James has continued to grow and shine as a school leader in 2025. He embraces challenges and has stepped up to many tasks—even those that push him outside his comfort zone.
Outstanding Allied Support – Finance: Lars Casperson
Over the past three years, Lars has been invaluable in establishing clear, effective, and efficient financial processes and procedures for our school. We are deeply grateful for his expertise and dedication.
Good luck to all our nominees—we are incredibly proud of you!

This week's recipient is:

Thanks to Rhys, Lucy, Elsie, Reid and Harriet for representing our school when Premier Allan came to visit. They asked the hard questions and spoke with confidence.
School Hours (Repeat)
Please note the schoolyard is unsupervised before 8:30 am. There are still many, many children on the grounds prior to this time.
For the safety of your children, I am asking that they are not dropped off at school before 8:30 am.
