What we have been up to...

This week for Writing, the students have been working on producing a published piece of writing.

In Mathematics, students have been working on completing a number of problem solving tasks based on the concepts that we have been learning about this semester.

For Topic, the students have been learning about the history of Bendigo. They learnt about Bendigo being home to the Dja Dja Wurrung people, the Traditional Owners of the land, who have lived here for thousands of years, caring for the land, animals, and rivers. They then learnt about people making their way to Bendigo in search of gold and the impact that different groups have had in the development of our city over time. Students then created their own paper Chinese Dragon as part of looking at Bendigo's Chinese heritage.
