News from Year Three

What a great three days we have had in year 3!
Information reports
This week, students have been working incredibly hard to complete their Information Reports on Kangaroos. They have researched fascinating facts, organised their ideas and focused on using strong descriptions to engage their readers. It has been wonderful to see the effort, pride, and growing confidence students have shown in drafting, editing, and publishing their work.
Maths - Heads and Tails Chance
Students have enjoyed participating in a range of chance games, including Heads and Tails, rock, paper, scissors, and others to investigate the likelihood of different outcomes. Through these hands-on activities, they have learned to collect, record, and interpret data by creating tables to represent their results.
Religion - The Creation Story
During religion, we have been focusing on the creation story. To express their understanding creatively, they designed and made collage artworks that represent different parts of the creation story. It was wonderful to see each student’s unique interpretation and the effort they put into their artwork.
