Swimming

It was fantastic to see how Respectful, Responsible, and Resilient the F/1/2 students were during their swimming lessons! Their ability to try something new and give it their best shot was amazing to see, and we are very proud of all of them!

Religion

For Religion this week, we had a wonderful prayer and meditation out in the sunshine and amongst the bush! Our reflection involved thinking about how we would like to be treated and how we should treat others. The F/1/2 students came up with some amazing reasons, such as treating people nicely, kindly, and with respect. The reasons they gave were that it makes us feel good, it helps us have good friends, and it is the right thing to do. This Term we are focusing on the Human Dignity of all people, so these reflections were a great example of how every person should be treated the same!

New F/1/2 Sport Date

Last Friday, the F/1/2 Sport Day was cancelled due to the thunderstorms. The new date is November 26th. Check Nforma next week for the new permission form. This new date clashes with our planned Inquiry afternoon. As the Sports Day finishes at 1:45 pm, we will return to school to spend the afternoon together. We will now change the Inquiry afternoon to commence at 2:30 pm. We want to keep the day as advertised in case families have already made work/child arrangements. We would love to have the afternoon open from 2:30 to 3:15 or so. If you need to leave early, no problem at all.
