VILLAGE GREENING
Celebrate sustainable fashion with @village_greening and show off your unique style!
Shop at secondhand stores across Darebin and put together a full outfit. You can leave the clothes as they are, or get creative by decorating or altering them.
You don't have to live in Darebin but you do have to shop at Darebin secondhand shops and you have to be 18 years old and over to enter.
Make a short video showing how you found and styled your outfit – no need for pro skills, just have fun!
Competition closes Jan 2, 2026 so you have plenty of time to get creative!
The 6 best outfits will be displayed at Fairfield Library in February 2026, and there are great prizes up for grabs for the first and second prize.

Let’s celebrate fashion that’s affordable, fun, and better for the planet.

Kew High School
Dear Parents and Staff,
Kew High School warmly invites you and your whole family to join them for their Community Connect Event on Friday 28 November, 4–8pm at Kew High School.
Enjoy an afternoon filled with live music, delicious food stalls and trucks, face painting, raffles, and fun activities especially for the kids! Kew High’s student leaders will be running engaging games especially designed for primary-aged children, and the Principal will host two school tours during the event — a great way to explore the school and meet the community. It’ll be a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families and organisations, celebrate the year and get into the festive spirit, while supporting Kew High School’s 2025 fundraiser to install climate control in classrooms.
They’d love to see you there!
