Showcase of Children’s Work

About 3 to 4 weeks ago, a group of children were feeling lost in the morning and looking for something to do.

A discussion happened with educators and the idea to make a game with a Christmas twist was created.

Cedric, Cameron and Joseph have been the lead children with assistance from Evelyn, Brandon and Jake.

This has been great for them to work on in BSC when they felt they wanted to and interact with the other activities provided.

Great work Guys.

Friday 24th November and Monday 4th December are Pupil Free days.

We have some great excursions planned for these days.

Friday 24th November - Enchanted Adventures in Arthurs Seat – Filling Fast

Monday 4th December – Collingwood Children’s farm – Bookings open Monday 20th November. Please contact OSHC directly for booking forms.

Bookings will be different this time with 3 days priority given to families who have a permanent booking on the day of the Excursions.

i.e. if your child comes every Monday you will be given 3 days to book Monday 4th December before other OSHC Families.

We will be running One Vacation Care day at the end of the year, Thursday 21st December.

We will be taking the children to the movies and a special Christmas Lunch back at school.

OSHC and Vacation Care will be closed from Friday 22nd December to Friday 5th January inclusive.

January Vacation Care will open Monday 8th January and run for 3 weeks (Excluding Friday 26th Australia Day).

Both booking forms will be emailed out Monday 27th November.

If you are collecting your children from school or child doesn’t attend school for the day can you please make sure to let the OSHC program know.

If we don’t have child arrive we do go looking for them and ask teachers to help as we assume the child is missing.

This compromises the safety of the OSHC children in the program while educators are out looking for your child.

Just reminder that fees are still charged regardless of non-attendance.

We require a two weeks notification for deleting ongoing permanent bookings
