This term in Inquiry, students will explore the world of primary sources, learning how to identify their origin and content features, which will allow students to gain a deeper understanding of the significance of various historical figures, places, and events. Students have in particular looked into what is the difference between migration, immigration and emigration. We have then began to look at push and pull factors of why people migrate to other countries.
Important reminders:
This term students MUST wear hats! Please ensure your student brings a NAMED school wide brimmed hat to school everyday (NO CAPS) as directed by DET and our school sun smart policy. All students without the correct hat will not be allowed to play in the yard and will have to seek shade in the eating area during recess and lunch.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
