Room 14 News

Wow, what a start to Term 4.  We welcomed Aalia to our class and had our Assembly and open classroom in Week 2.

Our children have been participating in Edudance and are learning some super smooth moves. They have enjoyed the music and fun. We are looking forward to our concert night so we can show all everyone their dance.

This term in Mathematics, we have been focusing on capacity and volume. We are enjoying the water, pasta, and rice play whilst working out which container holds the most or least amount. We have figured out that some containers will hold less even if they are taller and hold more even if the container appea small.

We have also been learning about 3D shapes and have had fun finding them in our playground.

In health, we have been learning about Protective Behaviours and how to stay safe. We have identified how to stay safe around water, what to do if there is a fire, and people who we can turn to if we need help. We learnt that if our Underpants Rules is broken we can run, kick, or scream and make a big scene.

We have been busy building with Lego, blocks, and Wegits and have the opportunity to continue building over a few days. Here are some of our buildings.
