Year 9 Camp: Campaspe Downs
From May 27th to 29th, our Year 9 students embarked on an unforgettable journey to Campaspe Downs for their annual camp adventure. Packed with excitement, challenges, and camaraderie, this year's camp was truly an experience to remember.
Students immersed themselves in a whirlwind of activities designed to test their limits and foster teamwork. From the adrenaline rush of archery and laser tag, to the thrill of climbing and abseiling, every moment was infused with the spirit of adventure.
But it wasn't just about conquering physical obstacles; the camp also provided opportunities for personal growth and reflection. Through activities like bushcraft, the Leap of Faith, and the Giant Swing, students discovered the power of self-determination and the courage to step outside their comfort zones.
Central to the camp experience was the WHC Points System, aligning with our school values of Inclusion, Self-Determination, and Courage. Throughout the camp, students earned points for their respective teams, showcasing their commitment to these values through participation, support, and resilience.
After three days of intense competition and camaraderie, it was the Orange Team who emerged victorious, demonstrating exceptional teamwork, determination, and courage. Their reward? A well-deserved free pizza lunch to celebrate their triumph!
A massive thank you to our incredible students and dedicated staff for making Year 9 Camp at Campaspe Downs an unforgettable experience. Your enthusiasm, resilience, and commitment to our school values made this camp. Thank you for your extraordinary contributions to the success of this event.
