2024 Talent Quest

On 3 May, we held the 2024 annual school talent show, also known as the Talent Quest. The day was jam packed full of talented, inspiring, and impressive performances, which showcased the varied and incredible skills that the students of Koonung had to offer!

As well as this, we were able to host Koonung's very own murder mystery, where the whole school was able to participate in a classic "Whodunnit?", by observing hints in each skit that was performed in between the acts throughout the day.

It is my pleasure to announce that we have had a great number of fun and creative guesses as to what happened and why in the Murder Mystery during the Talent Quest. However, Ryan Li (Year 9) accurately guessed the murder weapon and the motive, which was enough to get him the win.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Junior winner of the Talent Quest, Nicholas Mouratidis, with his expert Rubix-Cube solving precision, and the Senior winner, Tehmi Harding, with her beautiful and elegant dance moves. We are so proud of these two, as well as all our other insanely talented performers who participated in the Talent Quest and showed off their skills.

For those of you who did not get a chance to see the Talent Quest, there is a link to a video of all the skits performed by the TQ cast compiled together and edited into one single film (with subtitles) for your viewing! If you'd like to know the answer to who the murderer is and why, I am happy to answer any questions. The link is as follows:

Thank you to everyone who made that day possible, whether it was by working with the sound and lights, showing off their talent, performing in the skits, or getting engaged and excited when watching the acts throughout the day. It could not have happened without your support!

Until next time,
