Primary Zone Cross Country, Primary Diocesan Cross Country, Secondary Diocesan Cross Country
On Monday 13th May, selected primary students travelled to Gravesend to participate in the Zone Cross Country Carnival. Well done to everyone for your efforts on the day! Thank you to staff and parent volunteers for your assistance on the day. Without you, this day would not have been possible.
On Friday 17th May, selected primary students travelled to Barraba for the annual Diocesan Cross Country Carnival. There was lots of competitive spirit out on the track. We are very proud of all students for your participation on the day, with lots of personal bests achieved. Thank you to staff and parent volunteers for your help in making this day possible. It is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to Will Smith who placed 2nd overall in his age group, and to Digby Adams who placed 4th overall. Will and Digby have qualified to Polding (NSWCPS). We wish you all the best for your next event.
On Wednesday 15th May, 14 students travelled across to Armidale to compete in the Secondary Diocesan Cross Country trials. Students woke up bright and early to catch the bus at 6am. Students walked the course and prepared to race. The students all gave it their best effort and three students qualified to compete at the next level. A huge congratulations to Jacob Williams, Hamish Maunder and Hillary Williams for qualifying to compete at NSWCCC later this term.
