CoastCare Point Cook

Every Day Matters

Coastcare Point Cook carries out works in the Point Cook Coastal Park and around the Homestead.

Would you like to get involved and volunteer?

We meet on the third Sunday of the month from 9am till 11am.

There's an activity to suit everyone and a great group of volunteers to spend the morning with.

You can join in the garden restoration around the Historic Point Cook Homestead, it's amazing what a tidy garden can do to lift the building.

Or you are welcome to join the other team to continue weed control work in the wetland walk area at the entrance gate. We are specifically targeting the invasive and nasty African boxthorn, using the cut and paint method of control.

Homestead's VM year 11 and 12 students will be replanting this area with native plants early in term 3.

Anyone is welcome to volunteer, including children. Most tools are supplied and each time you can choose what to get involved in.
