Did you know that 53% of plastic bottles end up in landfill?
12% of plastic bottles end up in our environment where they contribute to the 130,000 tonnes of plastic leaked into Australia's marine environment each year.
Our local exchange depot is at 74 Newman Street Wangaratta (down the road from Bunnings)
Wangaratta High School have started recycling plastic bottles and drinking cans, with proceeds from the initiative being put back into our school and supporting worthy school projects.
Hint: Make sure you tell the staff on arrival that you want to donate to the High School.
