Snow Tour 2024
The annual Snow Tour, held in early August, unfolded over three exhilarating days of adventure. With forty students and eight leaders participating, the first two days were blessed with splendidly clear skies, while the third day was enveloped in fog. This year’s tour was the finest snow experience to date. This was due to our wonderful students who displayed the school values of endeavour when things got tough on the slopes, excellence when they were honing their skills, creativity when they were beating the leaders at poker or table tennis, respect when we were in public and at the movies, collaboration when students worked together to get down the runs, and epic resilience to get up and ski or board for 5-6 hours a day.
The tour's success was largely attributable to the teachers who devoted considerable effort both prior to and during the camp. My biggest gratitude extends to Ms. Claire Murray, Ms. Chloe Stimar, Mr. Mark Anderson, Ms. Emma Crimmings, and our exceptional volunteers Mel, Brendan, and Elissa. Their unwavering commitment was instrumental in delivering this enriching experience for the students.
