Improvement Team Reports
We are delighted to announce that the Semester 1 reports will be available to all students and families on Friday, June 28th, accessible through Compass. These reports are designed to provide you with valuable insights into your child's learning journey thus far. We encourage each family to take the time to review these reports together and engage in meaningful discussions about your child's academic progress.
At our school, education extends beyond the classroom; it is about nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped with lifelong learning skills. As part of this holistic approach, we emphasise the importance of the College 5P learning behaviours: Present, Prepared, Productive, Persistent, and Proactive.
Here are some suggestions for fostering productive conversations with your child based on these reports:
- Reflect and set goals: Encourage your child to reflect on their learning behaviours and set personal goals for the upcoming semester.
- Identify impactful behaviours: Help your child recognise how their learning behaviours influence their academic outcomes.
- Celebrate achievements: Acknowledge and celebrate the progress your child has made in their learning journey.
- Respond to recommendations: Consider the recommendations provided by teachers and discuss strategies to address any challenges in the next semester.
- Attendance reflection: Reflect on your child's attendance in each class and consider how absences may have affected their learning potential.
We believe that these discussions are crucial for supporting your child's educational development and fostering a positive learning environment at home and at school.
Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. Together, we can ensure that each student reaches their full potential.
