Principal Update

Melissa Mackenzie

As we reach the end of Term 1 I have been reflecting on the teaching and learning that has happened so far. Schools are such busy places and there is always a lot going on.

Each year level has set the expectations and tone for their learning environment, they have created opportunities for learning in various ways and provided experiences that only schools can offer. We have had some whole school gatherings and celebrations of learning and achievements. We have also had some individual efforts that I would also like to recognise: our Swimming Team for their dedication and persistence, Gus in the National Aquathon, Noah in Regional Tennis, the Year 5’s for fundraising for the RSPCA and there will be others I am unaware of. These efforts from our students are what makes this such a great place to be. I feel so humbled and proud every day. Our students are truly developing as outstanding citizens.

Have a wonderful break, taking some time out for the important things - looking after ourselves and others.
