School uniform items in lost property
PLEASE ensure all removable clothing is clearly labelled with your child’s full name, not initials. Iron-on labels, permanent marker or laundry pens are best. A few minutes spent marking your child’s belongings will save worry and expense.
Late arrival or early leave
In order to minimise disruption to class and maximise learning opportunities for our students, we would like to remind you that the school day starts promptly at 9:00am. If your child is late for any reason, please sign them in at the office via the Compass Kiosk. Your child will then collect a late pass which they'll give to their teacher.
If your child is leaving early, please come to the front office to collect them. Please ensure that you sign them out using the Compass Kiosk. One of our admin staff members will page for your child to come down to the office.

Scholastic Book Club- issue 3 out now
The Book Club Issue 3 magazine has now been sent home with your child. Excitingly, every parent/guardian who places an order from the Issue 3 catalogue will receive a $5 credit to spend in Issue 4! This means, regardless of the spend, everyone will receive the $5 credit and with books as low as $2 in each issue, this is a fantastic opportunity to increase the amount of books in your household this term.
The due date for Issue 3 orders isFriday 3rd May 2024.
Ordering from Book Club is easy! Simply go online and place your order using LOOP online or using the app:
- Look up “Scholastic” on the App Store or Google Play to find “Book Club Loop for Parents”
As always, you can continue to order from this issue after the school close off date, but delivery of the books will be made directly to your home and not to school (and will incur a charge of $10.00).
100 years - pin badge
To celebrate our anniversary we have a very special commemorative pin badge on sale for $5. These pin badges are gold coloured metal with two butterfly clutch backings to hold them in place on clothing.
Badges can be ordered via Qkr! (under the 'Centenary Keepsake' tab) and will be issued at the end of each week to the student whose name they have been ordered under.
Alternatively you can pop in and buy a badge from the office (card payments only please).
Centenary Parkdale Primary School Cookbook
As part of our 100th Year Celebration, we professionally published our very own cookbook. We chose this project because it could involve both students and their families and we have produced a cookbook full of your most loved family favourites (from quick & easy weeknight dinners to special birthday desserts). It is a truly beautiful and personalised gift for your family and friends - maybe think about this as a gift for Mother's Day?
Cookbooks are $30 each and can be ordered via Qkr! (also under the 'Centenary Keepsake' tab) , or you can buy one direct from the office.
