MATHEMATICS LUNCHTIME HELP SESSIONS
A reminder that the mathematics faculty runs many lunchtime help sessions to assist as many students as possible. These sessions are open to ALL students to come along with their maths work to get some extra help from a Maths teacher or to simply get their homework done.
Some junior students have shared their thoughts on the benefits of Maths Help sessions. We hope this encourages other students to give it a try. Thanks to the maths staff for their time and enthusiasm.
Why do you come to Maths Help?
Hi, I'm Harvey Cohen and I went to Year 7 Maths Help as much as I could last semester. I find Maths Help very useful as it allows me to work on my maths homework and get help with it if I need. The teachers always clearly explain how to solve questions to me if I need it.
Because of Maths Help, I understand all the topics I've done so far much better. I'm definitely going to go to Maths Help next semester as there's no reason not to; It's useful and it improves my math abilities. Sometimes, I even get to play maths Kahoots with other people who've come. Give Year 7 Maths Help a go!
Harvey Cohen, Year 7
Maths Help is a nice and suitable place for people who need help in Maths or a quiet place to study Maths. It is managed by a friendly teacher, 'Ms Pagel'. She helps students with passion and always explains solutions in detail.
