Parents and Friends Association update
Thank you to everyone who came along to the Parent Helper Morning Tea at Molesworth St Campus. The P&F group provided assorted home-baked goodies to accompany the freshly-brewed Small Batch Golden Ticket coffee and enjoyed chatting with all the new families who completed the Parent Helper Training Session with Adrienne.
P&F Annual General Meeting (AGM)
You are invited to attend our upcoming AGM on Monday 25 March at 6pm in the Aquarium at the Errol Street Campus (ie. the meeting room beside the school office). At this meeting all positions will be declared vacant and new people elected for these five roles: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Communications Lead and Secretary. We would love to expand this to also include: Event Volunteer Co-ordinator. Please let current Secretary, Lucy Bond, know if you are interested in one of these roles and she can provide more information: community@nmps.fun
Parents and Friends overview
Who are P&F? We are a small group of parent and community volunteers who organise fundraising and social activities that bring our school community together.
Who can join P&F? Anyone who cares about our school and is willing to help out with or lead activities and events.
What’s the commitment? Meetings are held at least monthly, usually on a Tuesday evening at a local venue near the school. Members can lead activities or provide support and assistance where possible/convenient. New members and ideas are always welcome! If you can’t attend the meetings, you are welcome to join our ‘keep in touch’ list and we’ll call on you to volunteer from time to time.
What’s in it for me? It’s a great way to get to know other members of the school community and feel connected to the school and your child’s education. We are small, friendly group where you will feel welcome and valued. Volunteering is rewarding!
