PI Day Celebration

The college celebrates  Pi (π) Day today, Thursday,14th of March. There were different activities and competitions in all the Mathematics classes that students enjoyed. The yearly bake a cake/cupcake contest for the culinary enthusiasts was done. In this competition, students’ creativity in decorating the pi cakes/cupcakes was the main criteria for judging. There were practical work in measurement, as well as Trivia questions that students’ participated in. Students enjoyed the story telling time of Sir Cumference and the First Round table. And for the art enthusiasts, there was the color- in competition using the values of pi.
