KIARA MALHOTRA - KICKING GOALS TOWARDS CULTURAL AWARENESS

Kiara Malhotra of Year 9 has been selected for the 2024 St Kilda Football Club Indigenous & Multicultural Scholarship Program. This is an off-field program designed to build leadership, resilience, and cultural awareness. It will consist of four in-depth workshop sessions starting from May through to August.

Within the program, Kiara will be working alongside the likes of Trent Dennis-Lane, who is an ex-AFL player for both St Kilda & Sydney. She will also be working with Katrina Amon, a leader within the indigenous communities across the region with rich knowledge and close connection to culture.

Kiara will also be attending the AFL match day where she’s been selected to be a part of the ‘Guard of Honour’, which will take place during the AFL’s Sir Doug Nicholls round.

Congratulations on an outstanding achievement Kiara. We look forward to hearing more about this important program and seeing you stand proudly in your place as a Guard of Honour attendant.
