From a young age, I have been captivated by the world of business, driven by a belief that nothing is impossible and refusing to accept "no" for an answer.

My entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 7, I enthusiastically delved into entrepreneurial pursuits, immersing myself in the world of entrepreneurship. I quickly learned the value of hustle and determination as I grew my marketing skills. From orchestrating drop shipping ventures to exploring other innovative avenues.

At the age of 13, is when I received a transformative opportunity when I was mentored by a renowned entrepreneur. I absorbed invaluable insights and knowledge into the world of business. After two years of development, I launched my own activewear company, jemsporting.com, marking a significant milestone in my entrepreneurial journey.

I work with models, marketing agents, designers, and manufacturers to realize my entrepreneurial dreams. Even partnering with renowned gyms worldwide, including those with over 5000+ locations, my clothing line gained attention. It appeared on their shelves, hosted pop-ups, featured prominently on their websites, and became a trusted partner.

Despite numerous challenges, sleepless nights, and moments of self-doubt, I persisted with an unwavering determination to succeed. Despite lacking support from others, I understood that entrepreneurship requires resilience.

Now, at 16, I'm excited to announce the launch of ramlabody.com featuring the world's first sand-repellent, which sold out within an hour of our first launch and took social media by storm boasting over 10M+ views on all platforms within a short period of time.

Now with a team of employees by my side, we are poised to move into our first office/warehouse, marking yet another milestone in my entrepreneurial journey. This is just the start. Despite challenges, I'm committed to entrepreneurship.

YEAR 11S TAKE ON DANDENONG MAGISTRATES COURT

On Wednesday 8 May, the Year 11 Legal Studies classes had the amazing privilege and opportunity to go on an excursion to the Dandenong Magistrates' Court.

The excursion was incredibly eye-opening and insightful as it provided the students with a glimpse into the proceedings of a day at the court. As the Magistrates' Court mostly hears Summary Offences (less serious crimes), the students were privy to cases on a range of crimes, including but not limited to, culpable driving, minor assault, requests for bail, breaking of restraining orders and more. The students also learnt that upon entering and exiting a courtroom, you must bow to the honourable magistrate before taking a seat.

It was very interesting to hear how the magistrate conducted the trial and how some of the accused people had lawyers, and others represented themselves. Some trials were long and onerous, and others finished in a matter of minutes. After the students were able to watch around 4-5 cases, the students were able to purchase a delicious lunch at Dandenong Plaza.

The Year 11 Legal Studies excursion to the Dandenong Magistrates' court was truly a highlight of the year.
