Boarding House

- Mr Andrew Monk

Term One has indeed passed us with some pace. With nearly 20 new boarders beginning their journey at College this term, they have all settled in well. New routines, friends, teachers, teams, subjects, and all that goes with starting a new year level rolled into 9 weeks!

Our Year 12 boarders should be pleased with their positive start. Most notably, our Year 12’s have their heads down and are trying their best with their academics. I must say that our younger ones are enjoying the social side of boarding, in particular Year 7 and 8. Lise Lowe, Boarding Houseparent, has recently been working with this group to create Easter treat bags to sell. The money raised alongside other fundraising ventures will go toward those less fortunate than us later in the year. A wonderful way to teach our young ones the virtue of compassion, kindness and service.

Wishing all our boarders and boarding families a safe and enjoyable Easter break and we look forward you on Sunday 14 April for the start of Term Two (on Monday).

Boarding Captains, Charlie and Bella wishing you safe and enjoyable Easter break.

Our ‘catch the bunny’ Matt Hutchings provided some laughs at the end of our term. Congratulations, Daisy, for finding Matt and securing the prized Humpty Dumpty Egg.
