Youth Mass - Sunday 24 March

On Palm Sunday we commenced Holy Week with Palm Sunday, and a Youth Mass led by Mercy College and St Pius X College at Our Lady of Dolour’s Parish. The church was a flurry with palm fronds, reminiscent of the crowd waving palms as they triumphantly welcomed Jesus into the city of Jerusalem. 

Easter Liturgy - Thursday 28 March

Last Thursday, the college gathered in combined year groups to pray the Stations of the Cross. A collaborative effort between Pius and Mercy illustrated the stations of the cross to bring about a real encounter with the Passion of Jesus. This made for an immersive experience with both students and teachers sharing personal stories connecting the whole school during this reverent liturgy.
