Dear Families,
It has been a fun couple of weeks and the children have enjoyed many different activities from learning to juggle to playing basketball in the gym, but I think the most popular activity has been Hama Beads and water play activities. We adapted some outdoor games that allowed us to play with water such as Duck Duck Goose we changed to Duck Duck splash and sponge tiggy, where you had to throw a wet sponge at someone to make them it, the only problem with this game was no one would run away.
As of this week we have started “Clubs”. The 2 clubs that we are starting is Super Sports and Cooking, the first cooking club will be the Wednesday.
I would like to say a big thank you to the principle for working with TeamKids to organise air conditioners for our room we really appreciate it.
I would also like to introduce Michelle. Michelle is very new to working with children but in the short time she has been with us she has build beautiful relationships with the children and families and has been a great support to me.
