In Term 1, Prep students have learned about moving safely around the Art space using scissors, collage, oil pastels and glue.

They watched the amazon Mr Squiggle and tried their own squiggle drawings and have practised drawing all types of lines to create crazy line monsters.

During Term 1 students at LPS have looked into colour theory and symmetry. They created symmetrical butterflies and began to create their own colour wheels using water paints and pencils.  Looking at the work of Disney animator and Imagineer Mary Blair they designed and created various forms of the iconic Disney ride, It's a Small World.

Over the last few weeks the whole school has focussed on our individual character strengths and how we can use feedback to uplevel our art.
